Medicaid covers this test in full for patients who meet the medical criteria for hereditary cancer testing — which is what the checklist above helps determine.

Most other insurance plans cover part of the cost. Natera is in-network with most plans and bills your insurance directly — the majority of in-network patients end up with no out-of-pocket cost at all.

Payment plans are available, interest free. If you do owe something, you can pay it over time rather than all at once. Natera also offers financial assistance that can bring the cost down to $149 or less for households that qualify.

Coverage depends on your plan and on meeting testing criteria, and some plans require prior authorization. Billing and payment plans are handled by Natera. We'll go over what to expect before anything is ordered.
